Alejandro Torres Mejía

Latin American multi-asset investment expert
He is currently the Chief Financial Project Executive of Puxin Group, focusing on multi-asset allocation, fixed income and derivatives strategies, with CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and CAIA (Alternative Investment Analyst) dual international certifications, and has more than 15 years of professional experience in the field of institutional asset management.


He graduated in Actuarial Science from Anáhuac University in Mexico and received his MBA from London Business School in 2015. Earlier in his career as a financial analyst at P&G, he joined Citibanamex Asset Management, where he led fixed income and multi-asset portfolio management. Following the acquisition of CAM by BlackRock, he moved to BlackRock as Director of Multi-Asset Strategy & Solutions in Mexico, where he led the implementation of the GOLD+ program and key asset allocation frameworks.


With an investment philosophy of "long-term value driven + structural optimization", Salvador excels at capturing opportunities in interest rate and exchange rate fluctuations, leveraging diversified tools to maximize returns and manage risks.


Since February 11, 2020, Alejandro Torres Mejía has been part of the Puxin Group, driving partnerships with institutional investors in emerging investment areas such as ETFs, private equity and hedging strategies, with a focus on deep integration of local insights in Latin America with global asset management experience.
